Golden Brown Smokey Eyes With a Pop of Purple (VIDEO)

Happy Weekend Gals!

Today I have a golden brown smokey eye tutorial for you. If there is one thing that I love doing, it's creating a twist on the classic smokey eye.

Smokey eye makeup tutorial using Prism eyeshadow palettes

This smokey eye look features beautiful earthy brown and bronze/gold shades with a pop of purple added to the lower lash line to create a little interest. To create this look I have used the Prism Sassy Lids eye shadow palettes in "Espresso Yourself" and "Bejeweled"

Products used in this tutorial:

Eyes:
  • Lime Crime Eyeshadow Primer
  • Prism Sassy Lids Palette "Espresso Yourself" and "Bejeweled"
  • Benefit High Brow Pencil "Champagne Pink"
  • LA Girl Pencil
  • Lime Crime Gel Liner "Quill"
  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara "Black"

Lips:
  • Prism Invisible Brow and Lip Liner
  • Prism Lipstick "Oh La Latte"
  • Prism Glossy Gloss "Rebel"

Thanks for watching!

What is your favourite smokey eye shade combination?

  1. What a beautifully soft take on the smokey-eye, this seems like a luxurious alternative to the usual style. I love the soft brushes you're using by the way Keisha! :)

    1. Thank you Gabrielle! Out of all the variations of a smokey eye that I have done, this is one of my favourites. I'm using a combination of brush brands, Real Techniques, Nars and Prism.

  12. I have a brown eyeshadow on today, well, it's a brown crayon eyeshadow stick which I blend all over my lids because I was lazy and I just ran upstairs and use a purple under my eyes after watching this! Haha! Thank you for the tutorial, Keisha!

  19. This is a gorgeous smokey eye! Great for daytime look! I am someone that has small almond eyes so a really dark smokey eye can really put a damper on what I think is one of the best parts of my face (Are we allowed to say that?). Love this look!

    1. Lol! You certainly are allowed to say that. This somkey eye would look fab on small eyes also as I didn't use a whole lot of dark shades (just in the crease) and I think the pale shimmer gold on the lids would make smaller eyes pop.
Thanks so much for watching Natasha!
