A Few of My Favourite Things: Wedding Season Favs

Hello Gals,

I absolutely LOVE Wedding Season.  Working with brides and collaborating with them to create a signature look for what is one of the most monumental days of their lives is simply awesome and I enjoy being a part of the process. 

Over the years, I have had access to many different products and there are certainly some that have made me think WTH….and some that have become staples in my pro bridal makeup kit. 

Today I have rounded up my favourite bridal products to share with you.

Bridal Beauty Pro App

Ok so this is not a makeup or beauty product, it is actually a remarkable organization tool. If there is one thing that I have learned over the years it is that staying organized is key to running a successful bridal business.  
The Bridal Beauty Pro App allows me to store my clients details, eg wedding location details, contact info etc. I also create bridal profiles for each of my brides where  I design their skin care plans, makeup plans and hair plans. For those brides who book a makeup trial, I can upload their photo and notes from the trial run which makes doing their makeup on their wedding day a breeze.

This is app is definitely the smartest, easiest, and most organized way to tackle wedding season.

 

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet

For me, proper skin prep is the single most important step in makeup application, so the products in my skin care kit are as important.

The Vitamin E Aqua  Boost Sorbet is one of the newer additions to my pro bridal kit, I have used it faithfully on my brides over  the past year and absolutely adore it. It provides a fresh glow to the skin without leaving it shiny or greasy. The moisturizer itself is a water based formula and has the ability to moisturize all skin types  providing the correct amount of hydration.  

Prism Classic Lipstick “Mauvey Star” 

"Mauvey Star" is a classic wedding shade and is part of the Prism Bridal Collection.  It is a soft iced pink with mauve tones and has gorgeous glittery flecks. This shade  is extremely flattering  on most skin tones. This lippie can be applied straight from the tube for a beautiful shimmery effect or sheered out with a clear gloss for a soft wash of colour (as I have done for my bride in the above photo)
"Mauvey Star" has been the shade of choice by my brides through the previous wedding season and I expect it will  be just as popular this season.
