My Everyday Blush Essentials: Fall Edition

Hello Gals!

In an effort to capture the essence of the autumn season, part of my fall makeup regime is to cozy up to the richer shades of blush. If you were to take a peek inside my beauty bag you will find blush hues of muted pinks, bronzes and corals as these shades excite me the most this season.

Blush essentials for Fall

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge "Powder Pink": If you have been a reader of my blog for a while, you will know that cream blushes are my absolute favorite type of blush as they add such a fresh glow to the skin. Powder Pink has been my got to cream blush shade for the past few fall/winter seasons because I am such a fan of both the formula and it's beautiful brownish pinkish hue. As far as cream blushes go, I find that this formula is superior to most as it glides on to the skin without feeling sticky, it blends easily and deposits just enough colour to add a natural flush to my cheeks.

Too Faced "Beach Bunny" Bronzer: I love the name....it's so playful and fun. This warm illuminating bronzer has rich tones of bronzy golds which are complimented with a soft pinkish gold shade and a deep berry shade. I turn to this bronzer during the cooler months when the crisp autumn air washes out my complexion, leaving me looking a little pale. Beach Bunny gives my skin that radiant "I just stepped off the beach" look, which I love.

Revlon Blush"Melon Drama": This is a new staple in my fall blush routine this year, I have only been using it since the beginning of the month. Melon Drama is a warm coral shade containing fine glittery flecks which makes for a gorgeous shimmery finish. I tend to reach for this blush when I feel that my skin needs a little pick me up, and it doesn't disappoint, it adds a boost of radiance to my cheeks adding life to my entire face.

  1. I am obsesses with the Too Faced bronzer. It's great that they have an array of colors in the compact. They can be a bit pricey but I have never been let down by any of their products.

  5. I've been loving NYX powder blush in shade Pinched, it's the darkest blusher that I have (I think?) and have recently loving bronzer again too. I'll need to pick up Revlon blush in Melon, it looks like a gorgeous shade! Great favourites here, Keisha!

  13. I love the nude blushes this time of year, but have found myself using more cream products than I usual do, for the "flushed cheeks" look.
