Happy Saturday Gals!
After a long and stressful week, one of my favourite weekend treats is to spoil myself with a pamper session. Setting aside at least an hour of "Me Time" every Saturday evening has become such an important part of my routine, as it helps me to unwind and relax.
Step1:
To kick off my pamper session, I always start off with a steaming hot shower and bubble up with a warm vanilla scented shower gel, followed by a sugar scrub. Exfoliating is my ultimate indulgence, if I could scrub all day every day, I would! Most times, I will make my own decadent scrub, but lately I have really been enjoying the Wild Argan Oil Body Scrub from, The Body Shop. It has such a gorgeous scent and it leaves my skin polished, soft, hydrated and lightly scented.
Step 2:
After hopping out of the shower, I exfoliate my face and apply the Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Face Mask. This is a super rich and creamy formula that has the wonderful scent of fresh apricots. As my skin has become super dry this winter...well every winter, this has been my go to mask. It has the ability to restore the skins hydration levels in just 10 mins, although I tend to leave it on for 30 mins, not because there are any doubts about it not effectively moisturizing in 10 minutes, I leave it on so that I can enjoy the sweet aroma.
Once rinsed my skin looks revived, supple and moisturized.
Step 3:
Next, is on to my dry flaky lips! Those of you who have been following my blog for a while, know that the battle with dry lips for me is a never-ending year round battle.
To keep my dry lips in check, I start by exfoliating them with the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish. This polish contains a delightful cocktail of brown sugar crystals, shea butter and jojoba oil, which does an excellent job of gently sloughing away my dry flaky patches leaving my lips moisturized and silky smooth. I then double up on the moisture up by applying the Wild Agran Oil Lip Solid Oil Lip Balm. This balm is new to my regime and it does a fantastic job at keeping my lips hydrated overnight.
Step 4:
Lastly, to end my little pamper session on a luxurious note, I apply Cake Beauty's Heavy Cream all over, paying particular attention to my feet. This richly textured cream melts quickly into the body leaving my skin with the delicious scent of french vanilla. With enriching ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil my skin is kept nourished and hydrated overnight.

I love that you have a specific weekend skincare regime for pampering - what a great idea! The Wild Argan Oil body scrub sounds fabulous, I'm currently trying their Drop of Youth range ready for reviewing next month and I'm so impressed - I may well give this body scrub a go! :)

I don't tend to set aside much 'me time' for pampering but I really should, it's one of my favourite things to do. I find there's nothing more luxurious than having a nice warm shower, layering up the products and just letting yourself relax a little.
